Pigs are not really Pigs.

Animal Farm animated series has helped me to get a clearer picture of the story, and what the story is all about. Eventhough the series are short, but it really helped me to get the gist of the story. The original story is from George Orwell, a famous writer who writes this story in 1945

Animal Farm is about the dictatorship that happened between those animals in the farm. After the major of the animal dies, the pigs took over the throne. The pigs are very powerful party because they rule the farm. There are two characters that are important in this story. One is Napoleon and the other is Snowball. Both are boars that live in the farm. They wanted freedom because they think; the owner of the farm Mr. Jones has been cruel to them. They think that human is useless, and all those animals think that they are treated like slaves. So, with the new ‘government’, they wanted to seek revenge to the human being.

However, Snowball thinks that Napoleon has gone too far and he actually has created seven commandments in order to treat animal equally. Snowball is a great leader, but Napoleon is not. He is lusting for power and this has made Snowball decided to overthrown Napoleon.

‘All animals are equal’. That’s one of the commandments they made in the farm. So, portrayal of human is shown in this story. The old major acts as a revolutionist where he acted to unite all the animals in the farm. So as human. We change for good because we have a great leader. While Snowball is one good example for us to see how a good leader should be. He gathered all the animal and this has bring them into a new move, a clean and more secure position.

In short, we have to be fair and equal to other people. We don’t want to be like Mr. Jones or Napoleon. Be nice to people and we will be treated the same.
